POV: Improve your writing by doing more of it.

☺️☺️ Just to be sappy a moment…

I love seeing writers improve over time.

I am lucky enough to work with some authors whose creative wells seem bottomless.

They are always writing. There are always more stories to tell.

And I get to read them.

And when you’ve seen someone’s early stories, then later ones, right up to the ones they’ve just finished, it’s abundantly clear how much improvement one makes simply by keeping going.

If you’re a writer and you want to improve, yes there are courses, and books, and podcasts, and numerous ways you can go about improving your craft.

But don’t underestimate the power of just doing more of it.

You will become more proficient.

You will hone your skills.

Finish your projects and start your new ones. Take forward what you’ve learnt.

I’ve had the privilege of witnessing this process many times over with my repeat clients.

🤩 Ooohhhh, they’re good.
