Will a British editor be cheaper than an American editor?

Snippet from BBC article

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ FYI, American and other international indie authors. ๐Ÿ“ข

๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง A British editor (*coughs๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ) may be an affordable option for you at the moment due to our weak pound.

๐Ÿ’ท As a BBC article explains, ‘A cheaper pound makes it less expensive for people around the globe to buy goods and services from British firms, making them more competitive.’

๐ŸŒ Details of my fees can be found here. Do a quick currency conversion and see what you think. I don’t position myself as being at the cheap end of editing, but it may seem that way to US authors at the moment in these financial circumstances.

๐Ÿ”Ž I proofread, copy edit and line edit in American English as well as British English. I know my way around the Chicago Manual of Style!

๐Ÿ“ฉ Drop me a message if you want to discuss your manuscript.
