β Clearing the decks. Do you do it? Is a tidy workspace a reflection of a tidy mind? The cause of a tidy mind? Or not linked at all?
π First quiet day working from home since 13th July.
π My son is back at school and I have three full days to work on my editing business.
π That’ll be three full days every week from here on in. Well, from now to July 2022 — at which point I’ll rejig my hours.
π€That’s the hope anyway. No Covid shenanigans this year, please.
π My editing days for September 2021–July 2022 are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
π©βπ« Thursdays and Fridays I will continue working with bright young minds in my teaching role.
π© And I have some availability for indie fiction or other edits from November onwards. Contact me. Enquiries about smaller edits in September and October are also welcome as these can be slotted in.
π‘ So why, then, am I sharing a photo of my duster and polish?
π¦ Clearing the decks. I have to do it. I can’t settle to work until I know I have a tidy workspace. It won’t take me long. Funnily enough, this cleaning malarky is a lot quicker when the kiddiwink is out!
β Are you the same? Have you got to have a tidy workspace before you can settle?
