How do you put a PDF on your Kindle? Making the most of those free lead magnet resources.

πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈHands up if you’ve ever signed up for a free PDF resource and didn’t get around to reading it.

I definitely have. Thinking ‘Yep, I’d like that’ and then realising, six months later, it’s still there clogging up my inbox. Or, sometimes, I’d forget about the existence of the resource completely. Such a shame as it could have been brilliant and there was clearly a reason I was attracted to it in the first place.

βœ… I have a solution!

❓Did you know your Kindle has its own email address?

“What’s the use of that?” πŸ€”

πŸ“© Well, all these PDFs that land in your regular email inbox can be sent to your Kindle so you can read them at your leisure.

“But if you stick a PDF on your Kindle, isn’t it a total pain? Having to scroll across, the text not fitting to the page…” 😬

βœ… Ah ha. I have a solution for that, too.

πŸ”„ Type the email subject line as Convert and some magic will happen. When you next look at your Kindle, the book/leaflet/guide will be there and, when you go to open it, you’ll find the PDF text fits to the page as it would in a regular Kindle book.

πŸ‘ It’s worked for me, anyway. Give it a go and tell me if it works for you.

Find your Kindle email address through Kindle settings.

πŸ’‘ Worth knowing if you put out PDF resources, too.
